Sized for One Bar
13cm wide, 9cm deep and 3cm tall — a dish for a single bar of soap rather than a tray for the whole basin. The 3cm height keeps it low enough that it doesn't crowd a narrow shelf.
Bamboo Composite, Not Ceramic
Made from bamboo and bamboo fibre with corn starch and mineral powder, rather than moulded plastic or glazed ceramic. Lighter than either, and the matte surface doesn't gloss up the way plastic does.
The Removable Insert
The insert lifts out, which is the part that actually matters day to day: soap water drains off the bar rather than pooling under it, and when it does get gummy you take the insert to the tap instead of scrubbing round the inside of the dish.
Cleaning
Wipe with a damp cloth, and rinse the insert as often as you think about it. Not dishwasher safe, and it isn't watertight, so don't leave it standing in water.
