BTU is the only number on the box, and nobody explains it. Here is what it means in a British garden, and where the difference between 40,000 and 50,000 actually shows up.
Gas, wood or electric — which fire pit fuel actually suits you?
Gas lights instantly and produces no smoke or ash — most of our own range is gas for exactly that reason. Wood gives real flame and crackle but needs ventilation and cleaning out. Electric is the only safe choice under a covered or built-in structure. Eight of our own heaters and fire pits, sorted by fuel.

Gas Type and Cylinder Requirements
This gas firepit table is designed to operate using propane as its fuel source. The unit does not come with a gas bottle, so you will need to purchase a propane cylinder separately.

The package includes:

Before first use, you will need to supply:

- AAA battery for ignition (1 required, not included)
Setting It Up for the First Time
To set up your gas firepit table, follow these steps:
1. Carefully unpack the items from the box and check that all contents are present.
2. Assemble the firepit table as per the supplied manual instructions.
3. Connect the pre-installed regulator and hose to your propane gas cylinder.
4. Perform a leak check according to the safety guidelines in the instruction manual.

Siting, Ventilation and Clearances
For optimal safety and performance, the gas firepit table must be used outdoors only. Ensure it is situated on a firm, level, and non-combustible surface. It should be clear of walls, furniture, canopies, and overhanging foliage.
Ignition and Controls
The firepit features a push button ignition system for easy lighting. Adjusting the flame is straightforward and accommodates your heating preferences.
This model does not require batteries for ignition, making it convenient to operate.
Safety Features and Compliance
Equipped with a thermocouple safety feature, this firepit will automatically close the gas valve if the flame goes out, preventing any gas leakage. The unit also complies with UKCA and CE(GAR) certification for safety assurance.
