BTU is the only number on the box, and nobody explains it. Here is what it means in a British garden, and where the difference between 40,000 and 50,000 actually shows up.
Gas, wood or electric — which fire pit fuel actually suits you?
Gas lights instantly and produces no smoke or ash — most of our own range is gas for exactly that reason. Wood gives real flame and crackle but needs ventilation and cleaning out. Electric is the only safe choice under a covered or built-in structure. Eight of our own heaters and fire pits, sorted by fuel.

Gas Type and Cylinder Requirements
This fire pit is designed to use propane gas. A suitable 5kg gas cylinder is required for operation, which is not included with the purchase.

Before first use, you will need to purchase a 5kg propane gas cylinder.

To set up your new fire pit table, first unpack the items from the box. Then, assemble the table as per the supplied instructions. After assembly, connect the regulator and hose to your propane cylinder. Conduct a leak check, and if everything is secure, you can proceed to light the ignition.
Siting, Ventilation and Clearances
Ensure that the fire pit is placed outdoors on a firm and level non-combustible surface. It should be clear of walls, furniture, canopies, and overhanging foliage. For specific clearance distances, consult the supplied instruction manual.
Ignition and Controls
The fire pit features an electronic ignition system for easy lighting. You can adjust the flame using the knob provided, allowing you to control the heat output effectively. No batteries are required for operation.
Safety Features and Compliance
This fire pit is equipped with a thermocouple safety device that automatically closes the valve if the flame goes out, preventing gas leakage. Additionally, it includes a spark guard mesh to protect against flying sparks.

Cleaning, Covers and Winter Storage
