152cm round, and who it actually seats
A 152cm circle seats six comfortably and eight at a push. Round tables are more generous than their diameter suggests, because nobody is sitting at a corner and everyone can see everyone — the reason a round table suits a long meal better than a rectangular one of the same area.
It is solid oak throughout in a dark finish, and at 77cm tall it takes a standard dining chair with the usual 27–30cm between seat and table top.
The space it needs
Allow 70cm of clear floor beyond the table edge on every side, so that a chair can be pushed back and got out of. On a 152cm table that means a room of about 2.9 metres in each direction before anything else is in it.
Oak darkens rather than fades, so the finish deepens over years. Wipe spills rather than letting them stand, and keep it out of direct sun on one side only — uneven light is what makes a solid top age unevenly.
Assembly and delivery access
It arrives in two cartons and needs assembling. The larger carton is roughly 157cm by 155cm and 10cm deep, which is the measurement to check against your doorways, your stair turn and your lift before it is delivered — a flat carton that size will not go round a tight landing.
The set weighs about 68kg boxed, so it is a two-person lift.
