Chandelier or pendant light — and how much ceiling clearance?
A pendant wants at least 7ft (213cm) of floor clearance anywhere someone walks under it, and 75cm above a dining table specifically. Warm white or cool white — which for which room?

Papier mache, and why the lamp is so light
50cm tall and 30cm across, with the body built from papier mache over an iron frame. That construction is the whole character of the piece: the surface is slightly irregular the way moulded paper is, and it takes the curved monochrome stripe as a hand-painted pattern rather than a print.
It also makes the lamp unusually light for its size at 4.2kg, which suits a lamp that gets moved — a bedside one evening and a shelf the next.
Bulb and placement
A standard bulb up to 40W, not included. 40W is a soft output, which is the right register for a patterned lamp — the pattern is what you are meant to notice, not the brightness.
At 50cm it suits a bedside table of 55–70cm or a side table beside a low chair. It arrives assembled.
